In the summer of 2021, Saskatoon’s favourite sons, The Sheepdogs, released No Simple Thing, making a return to the classic rock influenced sound they’re known for. The six-track EP, their first release in three years, is a killer summer album with refined rich harmonies and a focus on guitar. In the 10 years since appearing on the cover of Rolling Stone, The Sheepdogs have won four JUNO Awards and racked up six further JUNO Nominations. As lead singer-songwriter Ewan Currie puts it, “Like an experienced chef, the band keeps honing their recipes, constantly creating more complex yet subtle flavours.”
