Built on a foundation of love for sharing music and a desire to celebrate this beautiful journey of life together through singing their hearts out, Run the River strives to form meaningful connections and spread positivity with every performance.
Catherine Kennedy
Soulful folk-blues singer-songwriter Catherine Kennedy released her solo EP Fifty-Fifty Chance in 2018, took some time to perform on stages around the east coast such as Area 506, Folly Fest, Paddlefest and Shivering Songs, and released her debut album in 2022 alongside her band. As well as being the winner of Breakthrough Artist of the Year (2022), she was also nominated for Recording of the Year and Song of the Year for the Music New Brunswick Awards.
La Patente
La Patente is a band from Fredericton playing songs in French. They have been nominated for the Country Album of the Year at the ECMA’s in 2023 and French Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Breakthrough of the Year at the MNB Awards in 2022.
STEPHEN HERO
STEPHEN HERO makes raw, working class hip hop from Canada’s east coast. His style is influenced by alt-rap legends like Kool Keith and MF DOOM, with a strong penchant for the relaxed and joyous experimentation of groups like De La Soul and Beastie Boys, but with a contemporary feel.
