Getting home safely from Harvest is easier than ever this year. Whether you live in the city or are staying at a hotel, Harvest and its partners are proud to offer two different safe ride programs to make sure festival patrons get to and from the festival safely.
Harvest, Alcool NB Liquor, and Fredericton Transit have partnered to offer free regular transit service on all Fredericton Transit routes between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. to festival patrons and community members from Thursday through Saturday of the festival. The Fredericton Transit schedule can be found at www.fredericton.com/transit or by using ReadyPass, the free mobile app that provides real-time bus tracking and routing with easy use features.
“ANBL is very excited to partner with the City of Fredericton and the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival to provide the ‘Free ANBL Safe Ride,’” said Brad Cameron interim President & CEO of ANBL. “Smart and responsible use of alcohol is something we all have a role to play in, which is why are proud to work towards drastically reducing impaired driving in our communities.”
Fredericton Transit will also operate a late-night shuttle service from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. This late-night bussing will service North and South Fredericton – just let the driver know where you need to go, and they will bring you as close as possible to your preferred destination within City limits. Boarding location is at the Kings Place Mall.
For patrons staying at one of our partner hotels during Harvest, we have partnered with ANBL and Trius to provide three dedicated hotel shuttles as part of the Free ANBL Safe Ride Program from Thursday through Saturday. Pick up and drop-off location is at top of Wilmot Alley & King Street. The shuttle will operate on a loop from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. and will make stops at most major Fredericton hotels, including the Delta Hotel, Best Western Plus, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Howard Johnson and Fredericton Inn.
Routes and scheduling TBD.
